Privacy policy SMS consent documentation

The privacy policy's SMS/Text Messaging section now documents the three ways consent can be collected before text messaging is used:

1. Online Estimate Request -- the customer enters a phone number through a CleanEstimate Pro-powered form and sees the SMS disclosure language before submitting.
2. Business-Initiated Contact -- a business operator adds a phone number gathered during a direct interaction, and the first outbound SMS includes the required disclosure and opt-out language.
3. Verbal or In-Person Consent -- a business operator explains that texting will be used for service communication, obtains verbal consent, and the first outbound SMS includes opt-out and help instructions.

The same section also keeps the carrier-rate disclosure in place: standard message and data rates may apply depending on the recipient's mobile carrier and plan.

Public quote-form checkbox

The Rolling Suds of Lancaster public quote form uses one optional, unchecked SMS-consent checkbox. Its disclosure covers informational, transactional, and recurring marketing messages in one place, including quote updates, appointments, service notifications, invoices, customer support, seasonal reminders, and special offers.

Customers can request a quote without selecting the checkbox. The form keeps the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy acknowledgment below the submit button instead of requiring a second consent control, so text-message consent is not a condition of requesting service.

The quote form marks required labels with an asterisk. Full name, phone number, and property address are required; email and job details are optional. The server applies the same required-field rules if a submission bypasses the browser's built-in validation.
