Mobile Workforce, Time, and Pay

The mobile Workforce area uses live data from the organization selected in your signed-in session. It never substitutes preview team members, time entries, training records, or earnings when a workspace is empty or cannot be loaded.

Every Workforce screen includes a compact role-aware navigation grid below the header. Owners and managers can move directly among Team, Team Timecards, Availability & Time Off, and Training & Certifications; selecting a timecard still opens that employee's Review Timesheet. Field users see Time Clock, availability, and training, plus My Pay only when their role and Crew Performance Pay configuration authorize it.

Owner and manager screens

Owners and managers with the effective View Team permission can use:

  • Team for the current team directory, role, crew, truck, and live shift

status. While this screen remains open and online, it refreshes the live shift snapshot every 30 seconds.

  • Team Timecards for this week, last week, or this month. Each row shows

server-recorded hours, open shifts, and approval state.

  • Review Timesheet for individual shift and break entries. Approval

requires Manage Team and is blocked while an employee has an open shift. A manager who can view team time but lacks Manage Team receives the same read-only detail without an approval action.

  • Training & Certifications for requirements that apply to each active

role, including missing, completed, and expired records.

If a shift changes after approval, its timecard returns to Changed so it can be reviewed again.

Every Workforce page can be scrolled far enough for its final row, form button, or navigation control to sit above the persistent mobile tab bar and raised Create button. If a final control is only partly visible, continue scrolling before selecting it.

Employee Time Clock

Crew leads and technicians can open Time Clock, choose an assigned job for today, and then clock in. Starting or ending a break and clocking out update the same open shift.

The job list and job-linked clock-in use the organization's local calendar date. A job can be attached only when it is scheduled for today and assigned directly to the employee, their crew, or their truck. Cancelled, unassigned, and out-of-date jobs are rejected even if a modified client submits their ID.

Clock timestamps are created by the server. Every tap includes a retry key, so a network retry cannot create a second shift or apply the same transition twice. Only one open shift can exist for an employee in an organization.

An employee can start a general shift when no job is assigned. When a job is selected, the shift keeps the job and truck context shown on the screen.

Availability and time off

Availability & Time Off lets each signed-in employee maintain their own recurring weekday hours and submit a date-bounded time-off request. Requests begin as Pending. Owners and managers with Manage Team see the pending review queue and can approve or decline within the same organization.

Times use the 24-hour HH:MM format. Date fields use YYYY-MM-DD.

My Pay

My Pay is shown only to commissioned crew leads and technicians when Crew Performance Pay is enabled for the organization. It reuses the active Crew Pay policy and completed-job calculations for the previous 90 days.

The amounts are labeled Calculated pay. They are earnings calculations, not confirmation that payroll has been settled or deposited. When there are no qualifying completed jobs, the screen shows an honest empty state.

If a screen cannot load

Use Retry after checking connectivity. A permission error means the effective role permissions or Crew Performance Pay setting does not authorize that screen. Ask an owner to review the team permission matrix; do not switch organizations to work around access controls.
