Schedule & Dispatch Settings

Pending production: The V2 schedule and dispatch settings described below are merged but have not yet been deployed to production.

Current V2 settings

Open Settings > Schedule & dispatch to set the defaults used in the Jobs route-day view. Saving these settings does not assign, move, or otherwise change scheduled jobs. Saving requires Manage calendar and all-location access; other teammates can review the settings read-only.

Set Shop address as the route origin. Shop latitude and longitude are optional, but must be entered together; when saved, coordinates take priority over the address in route links. Changing the address clears previously saved coordinates.

Default truck capacity (hours per day) accepts 1 to 24 hours in half-hour increments. The route-day view compares that capacity with scheduled job hours from each job's daily start and end times. It excludes travel time and shows how many jobs lack a usable time window; when none can be calculated, job hours are reported as unavailable.

The optional Show stored crew performance pay on routes to financial readers overlay requires View financial reports for the reader. It shows stored net crew-pool amounts for the route's jobs; each amount belongs to the whole job, not a daily payout. Refresh reloads the route, dispatch settings, and stored pay data so current permission and pay changes are rechecked.

Route stop order remains manual. The Jobs route-day view can open the shop origin and ordered, addressed stops in Google Maps; links include only the first 10 addressed stops. Google Maps provides directions, while Clean Estimate does not optimize the route. The V2 settings page has no automatic optimization toggle.

V1 historical reference

The remaining sections describe historical Clean Estimate V1 settings and do not describe the current V2 controls.

Shop / Yard Address (V1)

V1 used a saved shop address as the start point for its route map, Google route timing, and distance heuristics. V1 rejected invalid latitude or longitude values.

Truck Capacity (V1)

Truck Capacity (Hours) defines how many scheduled hours CE Pro treats as a full day for one truck.

The daily and weekly boards use this number to show:

• Capacity bars
• Near-capacity warnings
• Best-fit suggestions for unassigned jobs

V1 dispatch settings require truck capacity to be a real number between 1 and 24 hours.

Crew Pay on Schedule (V1)

Turn on Crew pay on schedule if you want the schedule board to show the revenue-to-pay breakdown directly on truck routes and weekly planning cells.

When enabled, CE Pro shows:

• Crew pay total
• Lead share
• Technician share
• Solo-day payout behavior

Auto-Optimize on Assign (V1)

Turn on Auto-optimize on assign if you want CE Pro to rebuild the route order when a job is dropped onto a truck.

Leave it off if your dispatcher prefers to place jobs first and optimize later by hand.

When the live map is available, CE Pro also saves stop order, drive minutes, drive miles, and arrival timing back into dispatch records after optimization so the next load uses the same route timing.

In V1, a workspace missing the dispatch columns receives a direct migration or setup message instead of a raw database error when this card is saved.
