Storage and Attachments

Open Settings > Storage & Attachments to review the selected organization's stored file count and total bytes. Usage is calculated from active attachment metadata and stays isolated by organization.

Record attachments use a private storage bucket. Clean Estimate creates an immutable object path for each upload, records its content type and byte size, and returns short-lived signed links to authorized users. A replacement upload does not silently overwrite another file with the same name.

General record attachments support approved document and image formats up to 20 MB per file. Job proof continues to use the field-photo limit of 10 MB for JPEG, PNG, and WebP images. Organization logos remain in their dedicated logo path and are not exposed through record-attachment access rules.

Deleting a record attachment soft-deletes it first. The file remains recoverable for 30 days, then the daily retention job removes both the private object and its metadata. Direct anonymous reads and writes are blocked; the app uses authenticated upload preparation and signed downloads instead.
